Cold brew coffee

Posted by Café Balade on

Aaaaah, I understand you so much for liking your iced coffee! Drinking a glass of cold brew coffee in the morning feels like staying hydrated, right?

If you're a fan of iced coffee, the cold brew method is perfect for you. This cold infusion method will allow you to enjoy all the richness and complexity of Balade coffee, even in hot weather. ☀️

Here's how to cold brew your Balade coffee:

Note from Emilie 🌸: Don't hesitate to adjust the quantities of coffee
and water according to your personal infusion preferences!

For a strong coffee: 1:5 (ex. 40 g of coffee for 200 ml of water)
For a medium coffee: 1:5 (ex. 40 g of coffee for 320 ml of water)
For a light coffee: 1:10 (ex. 40 g of coffee for 400 ml of water)

Prepare your cold brew the day before so you can enjoy it the next morning!

  1. Choose your preferred ratio based on the desired strength of your cold brew coffee (here we'll use 40g of coffee to 200ml of water).
  2. Add 40g of coffee to your brewing container, such as a French press or Masson jar.
  3. Pour 200ml of water into the container (if you are using a French press, do not lower the plunger).
  4. Place your container in the refrigerator and let your Balade coffee infuse for 12 hours.
  5. If you used a mason jar, you can filter the coffee with a paper filter, or by getting a reusable coffee bag. If you used a French press, simply lower the plunger to separate the cold brew coffee from the coffee beans.
  6. Drink black coffee or add milk, water or foam to it to create your favorite refreshing recipe!
